Do you have a nursery?
We have a nursery that provides a safe place for your children with loving and experienced caretakers. The atmosphere of our nursery will immediately put you at ease, and allow you to worship the Lord while knowing that your children are being well taken care of.
What should I wear?
On Sunday you will find people wearing everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits and ties. We believe that the most important thing is the right heart that is prepared to worship and not what someone is wearing. You will find much of our leadership on Sundays in traditional Sunday dress.
Will there be classes for my children?
We have relevant classes for all ages starting from the nursery all the way through to the teenagers.
Do I have to give in the offering?
The Lord meets the needs of Batavia Baptist Temple through the giving of its membership. It is never expected for a visitor to give in the offering.
What kind of music do you have?
We sing mostly hymns with some choruses as well. All of our music is done in an exciting and worshipful manner. Our desire is that our music is not a performance that exalts ourselves or our church, but that it points people to Christ and prepares them for worship.
How long are your services?
The average length of our services is about one hour and twenty minutes.
